Types of Nylon
Critical Process Filtration offers TWO versions of membranes based on nylon 6,6.
- Standard Nylon 6,6 – for use in filtering liquids from water to specialty chemicals in a variety of industries.
- Positively Charged Nylon 6,6 – available in General Service Grade, charged nylon filters can remove negatively charged particles in water (certain organic molecules and some colloids). The positive charge can also help with purifying many chemical solvents by removing charged contaminants
- Melt Blown Nylon – the broad compatibility of nylon depth filters provide users a cost-effective way to reduce particles in chemical streams for multiple applications.
