Nylon Filters

Nylon 6,6 membrane is a proven performer in many applications. The broad chemical compatibility of nylon makes it ideal for filtering high purity chemicals and some solvents.

Types of Nylon

Critical Process Filtration offers TWO versions of membranes based on nylon 6,6.

  • Standard Nylon 6,6 – for use in filtering liquids from water to specialty chemicals in a variety of industries.
  • Positively Charged Nylon 6,6 – available in General Service Grade, charged nylon filters can remove negatively charged particles in water (certain organic molecules and some colloids). The positive charge can also help with purifying many chemical solvents by removing charged contaminants
  • Melt Blown Nylon – the broad compatibility of nylon depth filters provide users a cost-effective way to reduce particles in chemical streams for multiple applications.

Services

Critical Process Filtration partners with users to develop cost-effective filtration systems and perform application-specific tests for filter performance and safety. We provide complete documentation suitable for validation reviews by regulatory authorities. We also offer other Services to help you choose and verify your filter performance.

Selection Table

The product selection table contains information on both versions in their various grades and cartridge, capsule and flat disc forms. Click on the Download PDFin the appropriate location to download a data sheet for the filter media or product that fits your needs.
