Polypropylene Membrane and Media Filters

Polypropylene is used in a variety of filter applications. Polypropylene-based depth filters, either pleated flat sheet or melt-blown, are some of the most commonly used filter materials for both liquid and gas applications.

Membrane Media

Polypropylene membrane is hydrophobic and the filters made using polypropylene membrane are compatible with a variety of chemicals and ideal for filtering non-aqueous chemicals and some solvents. However, because of the hydrophobic nature of the membrane, it is more often used for purifying process air and gases, and protecting tank contents with tank vent filtration.

Polypropylene membrane-based filters are offered in Electronics and Service Grades, so users can choose the membrane performance profile that best suits their needs.

Pleated Depth, Melt Blown & Nano-Spun Media

Critical Process Filtration offers a range of filtration technologies based on polypropylene media. Pleated depth filters are available in Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Electronics, Service and Commercial Grades with a very large range of pore size ratings.

Melt Blown and Nano-Spun Polypropylene depth filters provide users a cost-effective way to reduce particles in streams and improve the performance of downstream filters.
