Hydrophilic Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) Membrane Filters

Polyvinylidene fluoride membrane is based on a fluoropolymer that is compatible with a wide variety of chemicals and solvents. Though naturally hydrophobic, our high capacity membrane is cast in a form that makes it hydrophilic and able to be wetted with water and other water-based solutions. The broad chemical compatibility of PVDF does make it ideal for filtering chemicals and some solvents.

Applications

The Hydrophilic PVDF from Critical Process Filtration is made with a high void volume for high dirt-holding capacity and long life in applications requiring removal of a large amount of contaminant. Offered in Biopharmaceutical, Food & Beverage and Service Grades, users can choose the membrane performance profile that best suits their needs.

Services

Critical Process Filtration partners with users to develop cost-effective filtration systems and perform application-specific tests for filter performance and safety. We provide complete documentation suitable for validation reviews by regulatory authorities. We also offer other Services to help you choose and verify your filter performance.
