PPD filters are constructed with pleated Polypropylene depth media for prefiltering critical pharmaceutical and healthcare liquids, including water, chemicals, and solvents. Pore sizes range from 0.10 to 100 µm, and filter sizes scale from laboratory to full production using identical materials to ensure consistent results.
These hydrophilic filters have superior retention and protect downstream filters by removing large amounts of particulate and other contaminants. PPD filters are rated at 99.9% efficiencies at the indicated pore size. Designed for high capacity and long life makes the PPD a very cost-effective filter.

Available from 5-40 inches in length with several end connections and O-ring options. For applications using elevated temperatures, PPD/HT Cartridges can be used in processes up to 203°F.
PPD Capsules
These filters are PPD cartridges encapsulated in a polypropylene shell to minimize exposure to process fluids. A popular choice for single-use applications and can be disposed of easily. Sizes range from 2-30 inches in length.
PPD Mini-Capsule
Mini-capsules are designed for lab scale testing, process development and small batch production with a filtration area of 500 cm². PPD Mini-Capsules are available pre-sterilized.
