For clarification and prefiltration of aqueous liquids with high particle loads.
FGD filters are constructed with pleated Fiberglass depth media for clarification and prefiltration of aqueous liquids. The FGD filters comply with all FDA requirements for the food industry. Pore sizes range from 0.22 to 10 µm and filter sizes scale from laboratory to full production using identical materials to ensure consistent results.
FGD filters are manufactured to ensure fiber-free effluent. They are rated at 99% retention at the indicated pore size and have a high contaminant holding capacity. FGD cartridges are designed for high throughput because of its fibrous construction, which also allows for cartridge cleaning and re-use in some applications.
Applications
- Wine
- Beer
- Soft Drinks
- Bottled Water
- Syrups
- Cosmetics
- Air & Gases

Quality Assurance
CPF filters are developed and manufactured under an ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System and designed to be used in cGMP-compliant processes.
FGD Cartridges
Available from 5-40 inches in length with several end connections and O-ring options.
FGD Capsules
These filters are FGD cartridges encapsulated in a polypropylene shell to minimize exposure to process fluids. A popular choice for single-use applications and can be disposed of easily. Sizes range from 2-30 inches in length.
FGD Mini-Capsule
Mini-capsules are designed for lab scale testing, process development and small batch production with a filtration area of 500 cm2.
