From one filter to millions.

After decades in the filtration industry, Fred Arbogast envisioned a process filter company based on a triad of products, technical support, and fast delivery – a combination the market demanded but seldom experienced. Along with Kristen Ramalho, an accountant by trade, the two responded to the needs of the market. In 1998, Critical Process Filtration was born and shipped its first product.

Sales began by supplying distributors and expanded to serving OEMs and end-users in industries where filtration was critical to the safety of the products.

 

Critical Process Filtration has grown steadily over the years in manufacturing space, personnel, and capacity. As a valued employer and community member, Critical Process Filtration continues to call Nashua, New Hampshire home. American craftsmanship, dedicated workers, along with the company’s focus and commitment to its original goals, has resulted in selling more than two million filters.

The company’s mission was clear at its inception, and it hasn’t changed since. More than two decades later, Critical Process Filtration provides made-to-order, high-quality filtration solutions that include technical support from initial inquiry through installation and the life of the operation, along with the company’s “secret sauce” of fast delivery times.
