Cartridge Filters

Critical Process Filtration's cartridge filters are designed to deliver excellent performance in every application.

Designed and manufactured under an ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System, these American-made cartridge filters can be direct replacements for existing systems and housings.
 
Critical Process Filtration's cartridge filters offer configuration options to suit your operation from size, media choice and layering, to end cap and O-ring selection. These highly durable cartridge filters stand up to the rigors of steam-in-place (SIP) and clean-in-place (CIP) operations.  Depth media and membrane cartridges are also available in high area and high temperature configurations.

Capsule Filters

Capsule filters protect operators and environment during setup, production and cleaning, while delivering high performance to your filtration system and single use applications.

Critical Process Filtration's Capsule filters offer rigid construction that stands up to demanding usage, especially autoclave sterilization and chemical sanitization. 
 
Each filter consists of a standard cartridge encapsulated in a dedicated polypropylene housing. Sizes range from 2 to 30 inches in length and come in a variety of end connections.
 
Most CPF capsules are available pre-sterilized by gamma irradiation.

Mini-Capsule Filters

Mini-Capsule filters are ideal for bench scale process development and small volume applications.

Most CPF Mini-Capsules are available pre-sterilized by gamma irradiation.

CPF Mini-Capsules are designed to provide outstanding performance and ease of use. Depending on fluid volume and application, Mini-Capsules are industrious filters intended for both lab and production environments.

Ease of Use

Mini-Capsules are devised to work in your environment so you don’t need to change your current setup or equipment. Their double-vent design enables them to be positioned in any direction or fit in tight spaces without impacting flow. Simply attach your input and output tubing according to the flow arrow and position the filter in any direction. To release air pressure, use whichever vent is most accessible. Depending on how you position the Mini-Capsule, the vents can also be used to drain the fluid.

Media Discs

Flat disc filters make testing for compatibility and efficiency simpler for researchers in early stage product development. They are well suited for pharmaceuticals, bioprocessing, industrial chemicals, solvents, water and process gases in the following applications:

Disc Holders

The CSH 47 mm Disc Holder is a popular size for laboratory testing.

Made from 316L stainless steel, they are true sanitary housings with no threaded vents or ports. They come with a clamp on twist valve assembly allowing for complete removal and cleaning of all components. The sanitary vent valve facilitates venting, draining, sampling, and integrity testing, and a single clamp closure enables easy disassembly and disc change out.
