CPF has an exciting opening in our Nashua location for an Analytical Laboratory Supervisor. We are looking for a self-starting Supervisor that can prepare product information and provide application test services as required to support CPF sales initiatives. This includes:
Testing to establish filtration requirements for new applications or replacement of filters in existing applications; Application testing to identify CPF filters that meet established requirements; Testing new raw materials for potential use in CPF products. This position also supports Manufacturing, Research and Development, Quality and Applications with data generation and analysis. This role reports to the Director of Membrane Technology.

What you will be accomplishing in our team environment:

  • Oversee and manage laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP standards.
  • Develop and implement laboratory procedures and protocols to ensure accurate and efficient testing processes.
  • Supervise laboratory staff, providing guidance, training.
  • Coordinate and prioritize laboratory activities, ensuring timely completion of projects and assignments.
  • Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), work instructions, reports, and audits.
  • Continuous improvement for existing analytical methods to meet growing customer demand
  • Collaborate with research and development teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data, preparing reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in laboratory management.
  • Provide technical support to sales, marketing, and global R&D
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned, according to the needs of the business.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology).
  • Proven experience in laboratory management or supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures, including histology, molecular biology, microbiology, etc.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations and CGMP standards.
  • Experience working within a laboratory that conforms to ISO 9001 standards
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of proper safe handling/disposal of chemicals and ability to maintain a clean and safe workspace
  • Ability to conduct projects independently, navigate through ambiguity and to rapidly respond to new situations and changing business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
