Production Supervisor

Critical Process Filtration, a TCPA Company, is a leading manufacturer of high-quality filtration solutions for pharmaceutical, electronics, process water, and gas filtration. We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join our growing team in Nashua, NH.
Summary
In this role you will be responsible for supervising production employees. This is done by organizing and monitoring work flow according to purchase orders to satisfy our customer needs in a consistent manner; making sure their orders are shipped on time, keeping production floor and equipment in excellent working condition; making sure all machines and equipment required for the elaboration of our products are up to date on maintenance and working properly, supervising that all cleaning tasks are being done and all forms are up to date and properly filled out as well as production log books. This position is also responsible for ensuring all company policies and Quality management systems are being followed. This position reports to the Production Manager.
What you will be accomplishing in our team environment
- Provide leadership where employees are engaged contributors to producing quality product and add to the success of the company.
- Accomplish manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Coach, counsel, and discipline employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Plan and manage the day to day allocation of resources; equipment, people, materials in order to safely and cost efficiently achieve production targets.
- Prioritize, schedule, and ensure maintenance and repairs are completed to maximize efficiency.
- Review daily maintenance effectiveness with personnel to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; comply with all safety policies, accident prevention, reviewing work areas for potential issues and participate in resolving identified concerns.
- Understand internal and external regulations, procedures and policies; apply them fairly and consistently.
- Give and welcome feedback; Contribute to building a positive team spirit; Put success of team above own interests; Able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives; Support everyone's efforts to succeed.
- Perform production duties as required include but are not limited to: Pleating, Endcapping, Inventory, Final Assembly, Bagging, Encapsulation, Packing, Engraving, Rework and Testing.
- Other duties may be assigned.
What we are looking for
- Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Ability to understand and apply work methods that drive accuracy and speed.
- Work effectively as a team member.
- Balances team and individual responsibilities by exhibiting objectivity and openness to others' views.
- Ability to communicate changes and progress.
- Ability to work occasional over-time.
- Ability to spend majority of time walking on hard floors.
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
