Critical Process Filtration is hiring for a second shift Light Assembly Manufacturing Tech in Nashua, NH to work 230PM-11PM in our testing area.

CPF has an exciting opening in our Nashua location for a Light Assembly Manufacturing Technician. In this role you will be responsible for a variety of manufacturing duties and responsibilities under the direction of the Group Leader, Production Supervisor, Operations Manager, and other qualified trainers

What you will be accomplishing in our team environment

  • Follows specific, outlined, and detailed procedures; while being closely managed.
  • Liaisons primarily with direct supervisors and other managers or group leaders that direct the work flow.
  • Performs basic pleating skills.
  • Ensures basic end capping is completed with all material types.
  • Completes the change out of tools and or temperatures to complete the endcap process.
  • While bagging: identifies gaskets and/or O-rings for completion of customer orders; determines the appropriate quantity of gaskets and/or O-rings and appropriate positioning for completed modules.
  • Takes responsibility for completing a quality visual check for correct configuration of the module. Identifies which bags are to be used and utilize the proper equipment (seamer) to complete the bagging of capsules.
  • While packing: identifies which boxes to utilize; determines which order needs to be boxed based upon work assignment and box accordingly.
  • While engraving, utilizes knowledge of module set-up for machine including part number and lot number.
  • Ability to use scanner for production reporting.
  • Maintains cleanliness of the shop floor and surrounding areas, in accordance to procedures.
  • Basic understanding of an MRP system.
  • Meets Production Chart goals as monitored by Production Supervisors.
  • Basic knowledge and usage of the following specialized equipment and procedures:
  • End Capping
  • Pleating
  • Bagging and Boxing
  • Picking
  • Engraving
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

What we are looking for

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 3-6 months manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to speak and read the English language
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when unclear on what to do.
  • Ability to understand and apply work methods that drive accuracy and speed.
  • Work effectively as a team member.
  • Ability to work occasional over-time.
  • Ability to spend majority of time walking on hard floors.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
  • Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
